Life Insurance Plans
Life insurance ensures your family is financially protected if you're not around. Choose from pure protection plans or plans that combine cover with savings.
Financial security for your loved ones
A life insurance policy is a contract in which the insurer pays a sum assured to your nominee on your death during the policy term, in return for premiums. Some plans also pay a maturity benefit if you survive the term. The right plan depends on how much protection your family needs, your budget and whether you want savings features.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about life insurance plans. Still have a question? We're happy to help.
Which type of life insurance is best?
For most people, a term plan offers the most protection per rupee. Plans with savings suit those who specifically want a guaranteed or insurance-linked savings component. We compare both honestly.
What is sum assured?
The amount the insurer promises to pay your nominee on a valid claim, as stated in the policy.
What is a rider?
An optional add-on to a base policy, such as critical illness, accidental death or premium waiver, available for an extra premium.
Can I surrender a policy early?
Many savings-type policies can be surrendered after a minimum period, but surrender values are often low in the early years. Term plans generally have no surrender value.
What is the free-look period?
A window (usually 15–30 days from receipt of the policy) during which you can return the policy if you disagree with its terms and get a refund, subject to deductions.
