SIP Investments

Build wealth steadily, one SIP at a time

The hardest part of investing is consistency. A SIP automates it - a fixed amount moves from your bank account into a mutual fund on a date you choose, every month. Over time this builds discipline, averages your purchase cost through market ups and downs and lets compounding do the heavy lifting.

Every SIP we set up is linked to a purpose - a home, a child's education, retirement.

Begin with an amount that is comfortable today and increase it over time.

04

Hands-free discipline

Auto-debit keeps you investing without having to time the market.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about sip investments. Still have a question? We're happy to help.

How much should I invest through a SIP?

Work backwards from your goal - its cost, time horizon and expected returns. Our Goal SIP calculator gives a starting point and we fine-tune it with you.

What is a step-up SIP?

A step-up (or top-up) SIP automatically increases your monthly amount by a fixed percentage or rupee amount every year, so your investing keeps pace with your income.

Can I stop or pause my SIP?

Yes. SIPs can be paused, modified or stopped at any time without penalty, although units redeemed within the exit-load period may attract a charge.

What happens if I miss a SIP instalment?

Nothing drastic - the instalment simply isn't invested. Your bank may levy a bounce charge, and repeated misses can lead the fund house to cancel the SIP.

Which date is best for a SIP?

Over the long term the date makes little difference to returns. Choose one shortly after your salary credit so the debit never fails.
